• Causes of deterioration of library materials.
• Preventing deterioration during special occasions: digitization and display.
• Cleaning and small repairs of contemporary library materials
• Natural disasters:
•Flood and fire prevention.
•Action plan in case of natural disasters.
•Major types of damage due to fire/flood.
•Conservation of historical library materials.
