Lecturer(s): prof. dr. Klemenčič Matej

During this lecture course special topics from the history of early modern art will be discussed. Specific topics cover geographically the present-day Slovenian and neighbouring territories, once part of Inner Austria, and their connections with different major artistic centres (e. g. Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, Venice). Topics are aimed at presenting the art in Slovenia as integrative part of a wider geographic area. The specific content of the lecture course is variable; every single year it is selected in concordance with current scientific research work of the lecturer. The course is aimed to introduce the students to in-depth research work on that topics on which they have some rudimentary knowledge from their B.A. courses.

The selection is variable and in concordance with the topics chosen every year.
